Before the surgery: X-ray shows significant damage to the kneecap and the presence of a prosthesis. Clinically, there is swelling in the front of the knee.

During the operation: Images showing the reconstruction of the gap created after the removal of the tumor-affected kneecap along with its skin, using a muscle (gastrocnemius) flap.
