CASE 30: Osteosarcoma located in the knee (distal femur)

A young male patient who underwent extensive resection (extraarticular) and tumor prosthesis reconstruction following chemotherapy for a pathological fracture due to distal femoral osteosarcoma.
Before the surgery: X-ray shows a lytic lesion in the lateral aspect of the distal femur, and scintigraphy shows increased activity in the same location.
Before the surgery: MRI and CT scans show damage accompanied by a fracture in the same location.
Post-Surgery: The X-ray shows the tumor prosthesis implanted after resection.
