CASE 40: Recurrent Intrapelvic Liposarcoma

- 47-year-old male patient
- Left lower extremity polio sequelae and dysfunction.
- The patient presented with complaints of pain and swelling in the left groin.
- He has a history of surgery due to intrapelvic liposarcoma.
- A needle biopsy performed on a mass located in the left iliac crest revealed liposarcoma; subsequent screenings showed no metastasis in the patient.
- The patient underwent external hemipelvectomy and fixation between the proximal femur, sacrum, and pubic arm.
During the Operation: The clinical appearance of the extremity, the macroscopic appearance of the tumor, the resection, and the subsequent reconstruction are shown.
