CASE 10: Ewing Sarcoma Located in the Left Iliac Wing

- 22 year old woman
- A patient who received 6 rounds of chemotherapy abroad for Ewing sarcoma and presented for surgery. Scans showed no metastases.
- The patient underwent reconstruction with screws/rods and bone cement after iliac wing resection.
- The patient experienced no complications during or after surgery and was referred to medical oncology for continuation of chemotherapy following wound healing.
Preoperative examination: X-ray shows a lesion in the left iliac wing.

Preoperative: MRI shows a large tumor tissue extending into the soft tissue of the left iliac crest.

During the operation: Clinical and radiological images of the removed tumor.

Postoperative: After the iliac wing is removed, reconstruction is observed with rod/screw and bone cement.
