CASE 14: Chondrosarcoma Located in the Right İliac Wing

- The patient presented with swelling and pain in the right hip area, numbness in the right foot, and difficulty walking.
- The patient has a known history of osteochondroma.
- A patient diagnosed with chondrosarcoma via needle biopsy of a mass located in the right iliac crest showed no signs of metastasis in subsequent scans.
- The patient underwent sacroiliac fixation following internal hemipelvectomy.
Preoperative: X-ray shows a mass lesion on the outer side of the right iliac wing, containing irregular calcifications extending into the soft tissue.

Pre-operative examination: CT scan and MRI show a large tumor tissue.

During the operation: The incision line is shown being determined.

During the operation: After the tumor is removed, a reconstruction procedure is performed.

During the operation: Clinical and radiological images of the removed tumor tissue.

Post-operative: Wound healing is observed.

Post-operative: X-ray and CT scan show the reconstruction procedure after internal hemipelvectomy.
