CASE 36: Recurrent Rhabdomyosarcoma Located in the Pelvis

  • 11-year-old male patient
  • The patient has a history of repeated surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy for intrapelvic rhabdomyosarcoma.
  • Internal hemipelvectomy was performed due to recurrence.


Preoperative: CT and MRI scans show irregularly bordered heterogeneous tumor tissue in the medial aspect of the left acetabulum.
