CASE 17: Chondrosarcoma located in the right hemipelvis (iliac wing-pelvic bone)
- Hits: 35
- 58-year-old male patient
- The right hip pain, which had been present for 7 months, gradually worsened and made walking difficult.
- The patient's needle biopsy revealed chondrosarcoma, and scans showed no metastases.
- The patient underwent hip transposition surgery with proximal femur tumor replacement following internal hemipelvectomy.
- The patient, who experienced no problems during or after the surgery, was discharged under close monitoring.
Preoperative examination: X-ray shows iliac wing damage, CT scan reveals bone destruction, and MRI shows tumor tissue extending into the soft tissue.

During the operation: Clinical and fluoroscopy images of the removed tumor tissue.

Postoperative: Hip transposition with proximal femur hip replacement after hemipelvectomy is observed.
