CASE 29: Chondrosarcoma Located in the Pubic Arm

- 36-year-old female patient
- I have had pain and swelling in my groin area for 8 months.
- Following a needle biopsy that revealed chondrosarcoma in the patient, subsequent scans did not detect metastases.
- The patient underwent soft tissue reconstruction with prolene mesh after internal hemipelvectomy (Type III).
Preoperative: X-ray shows irregularity and sclerotic tumor tissue in the left pubic arm.

Pre-operative examination: The MRI shows a large tumor tissue in the same location, causing bone damage.

During the operation: Determining the incision line and closing it with prolene mesh after tumor removal.

During the operation: Clinical appearance of the removed tumor.

Post-operative: Visible on X-ray and CT scans after resection.
