CASE 19: Ewing Sarcoma Located in the Foot (Metatarsal)

Our young male patient, who underwent extensive resection following chemotherapy for metatarsal Ewing sarcoma and was rehabilitated with liquid nitrogen.
Before the surgery: The X-ray shows a lytic lesion and irregularity in the second metatarsal bone of the foot.

Before the surgery: MRI shows an irregularly bordered and heterogeneous mass encircling the 2nd metatarsal.

During the Surgery: The osteotomy line is determined via fluoroscopy, and the clinical and fluoroscopy images of the removed tumor are shown, along with its image after recovery with liquid nitrogen application.

Post-Surgery: The image shows the fixation of bone recovered after resection using liquid nitrogen, with plates, screws, and K-wires.
