CASE 15: Pathological Fracture of the Hip (Proximal Femur) Due to Ewing Sarcoma

Our female patient underwent extensive resection and reconstruction with vascularized fibula following chemotherapy for a pathological fracture due to Ewing sarcoma located in the proximal femur.
Before the surgery: X-ray shows deformity, irregularity, and periosteal reaction in the proximal femur due to the fracture.
Before the surgery: The MRI shows a surrounding soft tissue mass and edema.
Post-Surgery: The X-ray shows the fixation of the vascularized fibula with a plate and K-wire, replacing the removed tumor bone.
