Our young female patient underwent ankle arthrodesis with recovered bone after wide resection following chemotherapy for Ewing sarcoma located in the distal tibia.
Before the surgery: The X-ray shows an irregularity in the distal tibia.

Before the surgery: MRI shows a heterogeneous soft tissue component encircling the distal tibia.

During the Surgery: The image shows the restoration of the bone, its fixation with a plate, and wound closure after it has been repositioned.

Post-Surgery: The X-ray shows ankle arthrodesis along with fibula fixation.
